During this unprecedented time in which we are attempting to take care of our employees’ welfare, the welfare of our customers and suppliers, we are taking the following steps in response.
- The Governor of Ohio has ordered a Statewide shutdown of non-essential businesses. This closure will be March 24, 2020 through April 6, 2020. We will be following all applicable Federal, State and local guidance as appropriate.
- With this being said, we have contractual agreements that fall under the Defense Production Act of 1950 and under Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS) and will fulfill these obligations with pride.
- It is our intention to try to meet our commitments to our customers. Currently all our materials are purchased are from within the US and we do not anticipate any disruptions of these supplies. We are likely to see a 2‑week delay in some business.
- Certain departments that are able will be working from home, such as the Project Engineering department, therefore will be available to receive RFQs, process POs and prepare jobs for production. Customers will be able to communicate with this department, just as they have in the past via email.
Although it is hard to know all the implications of this national emergency, we take very seriously our contractual commitments to all our customers and especially to those involved in our national defense. We will be contacting these customers to ensure that we are fulfilling our obligations. We will do all that we can to keep you updated on this response and delivery commitments.
